Terms of use

1. Purpose
These Terms of use (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Mijot service, available at mijot.app, published by Inellis, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of 1,000 euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under SIREN 942 042 870 (hereinafter “Inellis” or “we”).
Mijot is an online service that turns a photo of a dish into a polished food photograph using artificial intelligence, in about thirty seconds. Mijot improves the lighting, framing and background, but does not modify the contents of the plate and never invents an ingredient.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Creating an account and any use of the service imply full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use Mijot. The service is intended for professionals (restaurateurs, caterers, food businesses) as well as any adult wishing to enhance photos of dishes.
3. Description of the service
Mijot lets you, from a web browser, on desktop as well as mobile:
- import one or more photos of dishes (up to 8 per batch), taken with a phone;
- apply styles, framings and moods through artificial intelligence, with the option to provide a photo of your dining room as background inspiration;
- refine the result (changing the style, the framing, a new production);
- retouch the produced visuals (high-definition upscaling, background removal) and download them.
The service is provided “as is” and constitutes a best-efforts obligation. Inellis strives to ensure continuous availability, subject to maintenance operations and cases of force majeure.
4. User account
Access to the service requires creating an account, by email address and password or via Google sign-in. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, for the confidentiality of your credentials and for any activity carried out from your account. Any unauthorized use must be reported to us without delay at contact [at] mijot.app.
5. Credits and financial terms
Mijot runs on two units: dishes (one source photo, transformed as much as you like) and videos. Every new account gets 2 free dishes, no card required. The Menu Pack adds 30 dishes and 5 videos for life; Studio subscriptions provide unlimited dishes and a monthly video quota.
Studio subscriptions and the Menu Pack are paid online (Stripe). Dishes and videos have no monetary value, are neither refundable nor transferable, and remain valid while the account is active. For any question, email us at contact [at] mijot.app. Inellis reserves the right to change this pricing with prior notice to users.
6. Your content
You retain full ownership of the photos you import. By importing them, you warrant that you hold all the rights required over this content and that it does not infringe any third-party right or any legal provision. You grant us a limited license, strictly necessary to provide the service (storage, processing by our artificial intelligence providers, delivery of the result), for the sole duration required by that processing.
7. Ownership of the produced visuals
The visuals generated by Mijot from your photos belong to you. You may use them freely, without limitation of duration or territory, including for commercial purposes (website, Google listing, social networks, delivery platforms such as Uber Eats or Deliveroo). Inellis claims no rights over your dishes or the visuals you produce.
8. Mijot's intellectual property
Inellis retains all intellectual property rights over the Mijot platform, its brand, its interface, its models, its algorithms and its documentation. No provision of these Terms may be construed as an assignment of these rights.
9. Acceptable use
When using Mijot, you undertake not to:
- import unlawful, defamatory, infringing content or content that violates third-party rights;
- divert the service from its purpose (in particular to produce misleading images or images likely to deceive the consumer);
- attempt to circumvent technical limitations, overload the infrastructure or access data that does not belong to you;
- resell or redistribute access to the service without written authorization.
10. Liability
Mijot relies on artificial intelligence models: results may contain imperfections. It is your responsibility to check each visual before publication, in particular its faithfulness to the actual dish and its compliance with the rules of the platforms on which you distribute it. Inellis cannot be held liable for a temporary unavailability of the service, a loss of data due to a case of force majeure, or a non-compliant use of the service. In any event, and to the extent permitted by law, Inellis's liability is limited to the amounts, if any, paid by the user during the twelve (12) months preceding the triggering event.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Mijot and request the deletion of your account at any time by writing to us at contact [at] mijot.app. Inellis reserves the right to suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these Terms, after informing the user where possible.
12. Personal data
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy policy, compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
13. Changes to the Terms
Inellis may amend these Terms to keep up with changes in the service or in regulations. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of your use. In the event of a substantial change, users will be informed.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavor to reach an amicable solution. In accordance with regulations, a consumer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator. Failing an agreement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
