This policy describes how Mijot (mijot.app), a service published by Inellis, collects and processes your personal data, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Inellis, an SAS registered under SIRET 942 042 870 00017, whose registered office is located at 40 Rue des Blancs-Manteaux, 75004 Paris. For any question regarding your data, you can write to us at contact [at] mijot.app.
2. Data collected
As part of using Mijot, we collect:
- Account data: email address and, in the case of sign-in via Google, the name and profile picture associated with your Google account;
- Imported content: the photos of dishes you upload, and where applicable the photo of your dining room used as ambiance;
- Produced content: the visuals generated by the service;
- Usage data: credit balance and history, productions carried out;
- Technical data: IP address, access logs, browser type, necessary for the operation and security of the service.
3. Purposes of processing
Your data is processed in order to:
- provide the image generation and retouching service;
- manage your account, your authentication and your credits;
- ensure security, prevent fraud and abuse;
- send you the emails necessary for the service (verification, support) and respond to your requests;
- improve the service and its performance.
4. Legal bases
The processing is based on the performance of the contract constituted by the Terms (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR) for providing the service and managing the account, and on our legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR) for the security and improvement of the service. Where applicable, certain processing is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Processors and data transfers
To provide the service, we use technical providers (“processors” within the meaning of the GDPR):
- Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany, European Union);
- Image storage: DigitalOcean Spaces, Frankfurt region (Germany, European Union);
- Generation by artificial intelligence: Replicate and OpenAI (image model), Google (Gemini analysis). This processing may involve transfers outside the European Union;
- Post-processing: Modal (high-definition upscaling) and fal.ai (background removal);
- Email sending: Resend;
- Google sign-in: Google, if you choose this authentication method.
Where these providers involve a transfer of data outside the European Union, it is governed by standard contractual clauses in accordance with Article 46.2.c of the GDPR. Your photos are transmitted to these providers solely to carry out the processing you request, and are not used by Mijot to train its own models.
6. Retention period
Account data, your photos and your visuals are kept as long as your account is active, then deleted upon account closure or at your request. Temporary derived files (upscaling, background removal) have a lifespan limited to 24 hours. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and restriction of your data, as well as a right to object to processing. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to contact [at] mijot.app. We undertake to respond within one month.
8. Cookies
Mijot uses only cookies strictly necessary for its operation (a session cookie to keep you signed in). No advertising cookie is set.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against any unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure (encrypted passwords, secure connections, restricted access).
10. Minors
Mijot is intended for professionals and adults, and is not aimed at minors. We do not knowingly collect data concerning minors.
11. Complaint
If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with regulations, you may lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service or in regulations. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
